Writeup

Data Horizons 2026 ran as two three-day phases in partnership with the UPLB Graduate School. Phase 1 covered Python; Phase 2, held April 28 to 30 and guided by Prof. Jomar F. Rabajante, was built for those ready to master R. Each day ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the UPLB GS ISSC.

Phase 1 took participants from Python basics to their own analyses over three days and closed with a hackathon.

On the final day of Phase 2, participants used linear regression, data visualization, and other machine learning models to analyze datasets of their choice. Completers received a verifiable Certificate of Completion from the UPLB Graduate School.
