On May 3, 2025, the guild gathered at the UPLB Graduate School for Dataverse: Bridging Data Science and Blockchain for a Secure Digital Future. In partnership with the Junior Blockchain Education Consortium of the Philippines Dangals, the event brought together data enthusiasts and blockchain innovators for a session led by Jerome Monte and Renzo Cabarios of Hiraya Network.
The talk covered how blockchain is used today, its open problems, and where it meets data science. The day ended with a hands-on coding session where participants extracted and analyzed blockchain data in action.
